You can create your own space with our Home Planner. Easily design your kitchen, office, bathroom, wardrobe, the new sofa, and more.
You can rent a trailer from IKEA for all the products that don't fit in the trunk of your car. You borrow the trailer for free for 2 hours, get your products home and then return it.
The first 2 hours are without charge. Each extra hour needed is ISK 2,000/hour.
You can rent a trailer at the IKEA warehouse at Kauptún 3, next to Bónus, and at the IKEA warehouse located at Suðurhraun 10.
The trailer rental is open from 11:00 to 20:30.
Children are welcome at IKEA. We offer special family parking close to the store, free childcare, play areas all over the store, and at the restaurant there is a special kid's menu, baby food, bibs, high-chairs and bottle warmers. You’ll find a Nursing Room on both floors. Feel free to use it!
You can pay for your products however suits you. We accept cash, debit cards, and VISA and Mastercard credit cards. If a credit card is used, you can split the payment into installments and an interest-free loan. That way you can split the cost of pricier products and pay a fixed amount per month.
To get a product fully refunded in the form of store credit, the product needs to be unused and the packaging undamaged. You also have to provide the receipt, or a gift note which is available at the cash register.
You can charge your electric car for free while you shop. Now there are 65 chargepoints in the IKEA parking lot. We think electric cars are for everyone, just as IKEA is for everyone.
Borrow a wheelchair and a special shopping cart for the wheelchair at the entrance of IKEA.
Now you don't have to get that pallet to the recycling station. We want to use it again and limit waste! We pick up IKEA pallets for free within the capital area and in bigger towns around the country.
If the product is sold out but expected back, we can send you a text message (SMS) when it comes back. Sign up for the SMS-list on the computer in front of the Service Desk by the Exit. You can also email IKEA@IKEA.is, provide the product number, your phone number, and enter “SMS” into the Subject line of the email. Please note that an SMS does not guarantee that the product will be reserved for you.
You are welcome to wrap your gifts at the Gift Wrapping Station by the Exit.
