We collect wooden pallets and reuse them

We collect IKEA wooden pallets in the capital area and in urban centres in the countryside free of charge. Through collaboration, we can put them back into use and thus reduce waste. We do not collect cardboard pallets, as they are categorized with other paper waste.

IKEA is switching to cardboard pallets that are lightweight and more sustainable to produce, reducing the carbon footprint during transportation.
When the pallet is no longer needed, IKEA customers can recycle it with other cardboard.
