Skip the drill, and trust the adhesive

Would you rather avoid drilling holes into your bathroom wall? Many people feel the same. Still, hooks and other storage solutions are needed to keep things tidy. ”The KROKSJÖN kit serves as a mount for several of our accessory series,” says Sofia Helbro, one of our product development engineers. “But it’s essential that it’s firmly attached to the wall. So, we teamed up with tesa, one of the leading experts when it comes to glue and tape solutions.”

Strong and safe-to-use glue

That marked the beginning of an intense collaboration – under rather unusual circumstances. “Our requirements state that we must not use chemicals that require warning labels. So we had to develop a glue that met those demands.” After a long and challenging development process, we reached our goal: a glue that is safe to use, yet strong enough to hold several kilos.

Leaves no traces

For a long time, suction cups or tape were the only options for attaching hooks in the bathroom, unless you wanted to drill. The downside is that they can’t hold much weight. “The good thing about the adhesive KROKSJÖN is that it holds considerably more weight than a suction cup and adheres just as good to concrete as it does to glass or tiles.” Installing the kit requires no tools and carries no risk of damaging the waterproofing membrane. “And when you move or want to remodel your bathroom, you can simply remove it all. Without any glue residue or holes left on the wall.
