When we created NYMÅNE pendant lamp, we opened our treasure chest and found KLANG lamp from the 1960s. We added a dimmable built-in LED and let our designer give it a modern expression that fits the series well.

Sometimes it's not silly to look to the past. When we set out designing our new NYMÅNE pendant lamp, the goal was for it to have a modern yet timeless expression and a built-in LED which is glare-free. When we opened the lid of our old treasure chest of lamps, the choice fell on a pendant lamp from our range in the late 1960s. The lamp was called KLANG, and it had all the properties we wanted – and our designer gave it a shape that fits perfectly in the NYMÅNE lamp family.
